DermaV

DermaV is a long‑pulsed 532nm KTP and 1064nm Nd:YAG laser system engineered for high‑precision treatment of vascular and pigmentary conditions. It uses wavelength‑specific absorption in hemoglobin and melanin to achieve controlled photothermal coagulation of vessels and pigment, treating both vascular and pigmentary indications. Advanced features such as Variable Sequential Pulsing, integrated cryogen cooling and real‑time temperature sensing optimise energy delivery, enhance epidermal protection and improve patient comfort, allowing effective treatment across a broad range of skin types with predictable clinical outcomes.

What are the benefits?

  • Improves vascularity-including rosacea, diffused redness, facial flushing and vascular lesions such as telangiectasia and angiomas.
  • Lightens pigmentation – fades freckles, sunspots, and age spots for a clearer complexion.
  • Evens out redness and discoloration for a brighter, more balanced skin tone
  • Targets fine lines, wrinkles and overall skin rejuvenation

Which skin conditions is this suitable for?

  • Rosacea, diffused redness, facial flushing
  • Fine lines, wrinkles and ageing concerns
  • Vascular lesions
  • Post inflammatory erythema and acne scarring

What can you expect post treatment?

  • Erythema (Redness): there will be mild to moderate redness post treatment, this may resolve within a couple of hours, however may persist for 24-28 hours
  • Oedema (swelling): swelling may occur for 24-72 hours post treatment, ice can be applied to the area to assist with healing
  • Darkening of pigmentation: pigmentation may darken temporarily before lightening
  • Bruising: bruising may occur where individual lesions have been treated, this will resolve over 7 days

How many treatments will you need and when will you see results?

DermaV is best performed in a series of 3-6 treatments. Treatment intervals of 6-8 weeks are recommended for best results. Results can take up to 6 weeks following treatment, however results accumulate over time following multiple treatments.
